Christian Quiz

If you are a Christian, take this quiz. Answer Yes or No to each question. Take your time and be truthful, please.
Are you taught to give to those that would borrow, and not turn them away?
Are you taught that you will not be forgiven by God, and thus go to hell, if you do not forgive people?
Are you taught not to store up treasure on earth for yourself?
Are you taught to give to the needs of the poorer saints?
Are you taught that those who practice habitual sin will go to hell, regardless of their so called confession of the “sinners‘” prayer?
Are you taught that riches are deceitful and will make you unfruitful, or unChristlike?
Are you taught that to have eternal life you must keep the commandments and give to the poor?
Are you taught that you must practice Jesus’ words in order to be a Christian?
Are you taught that the only proof that you love Jesus is by obeying his words?
Are you taught that only those that suffer with Christ are joint heirs with him?

Are you taught to note and avoid teachers and preachers who teach things that are contrary to the apostle’s teaching( not contrary to your pastor‘s teaching)?
Are you taught to judge those in the body of Christ like scripture tells us to?
Are you taught to examine all teachings to see whether it is consistent with scripture and contextually sound?
Are you taught to put the needs and well-being of others ahead of yourself?
Are you taught that love is the highest goal of a Christian?
Are you encouraged or allowed to exercise your spiritual gifts( word of knowledge, wisdom, faith, healing, miracles, prophecy, tongues, doctrine, teaching, revelations) when you are gathered together as the body or church?
Are you taught that women are commanded to be silent in the church, and that it is a shame for them to speak in the church?
Are you taught that the apostle Paul declared himself to be a minister of the new testament, not the letter or the law?
Are you taught to prepare an offering for the poor saints on the first day of the week?
Are you taught ,by the example of your church leaders ,that your church should support the poorer churches or saints among yourselves then increase your efforts abroad?
Has your pastor given himself to you, in addition to the gospel that he preaches?
Are you taught that law keepers are cursed and estranged from Christ, and have fallen from grace?
Are you taught that the blessing of Abraham is the promise of the Holy Spirit?
Are you taught that the fruit or evidence of the Spirit is love, joy, peace , longsuffering,etc.?
Are you taught that the law has been abolished?
Are you taught that Paul’s friends, Epaphroditus, Timothy (and even Paul) were sick?
Are you taught that the law is not made for a righteous man, but for sinners?
Are you taught that Jesus is the only mediator between you and God?
Are you taught that godly women will adorn themselves with modest apparel and not with broided or fancy hairstyles, gold, pearls and expensive clothes?
Are you taught that women are to learn in silence and submit?
Are you taught that women are not to assume positions of authority over men?
Are you taught that the belief that godliness is a means or a way of gain indicates that a person’s mind is corrupt and that this person is destitute of the truth?
Are you taught to withdraw from the person who thinks that godliness equates to gain?
Are you taught that those who desire to be rich will fall into temptation, snares, lusts, destruction and perdition (which means to be spiritually lost)?
Are you taught that those that are rich among the saints are to share?
Are you taught that wives are to love and be obedient to their husbands so that God’s word not be blasphemed?
Are you taught that God speaks to us through Christ and not through the “prophets of old”?
Are you taught that we are Christ’ only if we hold fast to the end?
Are you taught that the Levites have a commandment to take tithes from their brethren, or fellow Jews?
Are you taught that every scriptural reference to tithing deals with food, agriculture, or livestocks, but never money?
Are you taught that the offerings for the temple included money, shekels, gold and silver?
Are you taught that Jesus is the mediator of a better covenant, contract, or commandment , which is the new testament?
Are you taught that the first covenant had faults and necessitated a new covenant?
Are you taught that the first covenant has been made obsolete?
Are you taught about the host of believers that suffered unimaginable horrors, despite their faith?
Are you taught that without holiness, you shall not see the Lord?
Are you taught to be content with the things that you have , and not to be covetous?
Are you taught that the lowly brothers and sisters will be exhalted?
Are you taught that true religion entails visiting orphans, widows and keeping yourself unspotted or unpolluted by the world?
Are you taught that God has chosen the poor to be rich in faith and heirs to the kingdom?
Are you taught that you are not to mind high things but seek men of low status?
Are you taught that the old covenant is a yoke?
Are you taught that the bible forbids a pastor from ruling over the congregation, but instructs him to lead by example?
Are you taught that false teachers and prophets use your greed to exploit you?
Are you taught to beware of those, who through incorrect teaching, twist the scriptures, causing you to fall away and be led astray?
Are you taught that since the Holy Spirit abides in you, that you do not need a man to teach you?
Are you taught that preaching is for those that are unsaved?
Are you taught that the love of God does not dwell in you if you have material substance and do not give or share with those that lack substance?
Are you taught about the church leader Diotrephes, who expelled those that wanted to receive from other men of God?
Are you taught to earnestly and diligently contend and defend the faith or doctrine that was handed down to the saints?
Are you taught to note and avoid those that would serve themselves and their lust by speaking great and flattering words, to take advantage of the saints?
Are you taught to lose your life, to deny yourself, and to take up your cross daily?
Are you taught to distribute to the needs of other Christians?
Are you taught that wives are to submit to their husbands, as unto the Lord?
Are you taught that husbands are to love their wives as Christ loved the church?
Are you taught to give thanks not only in all things but for all things?
Are you taught that you are commanded to withdraw from Christians that behave contrary to the clear teachings of scripture?
Are you taught that the godly in Christ will suffer persecution?
Are you taught that women are to be discreet, chaste , keepers of the home, and obedient to their husbands?
Are you taught to be content with the things that you have?
Are you taught that Jesus is only your Lord if you do what he says?
Are you taught to serve God and not mammon?

If you can answer yes to all of these questions, you are under godly leadership and are being made a true disciple. If you could not answer yes to each of these questions, it would be wise to revisit each of these questions, with the assistance of the Holy Spirit, who leads and guides in all truth, and carefully and prayerfully submit to his teachings and not that of men.
